In the COO role, he oversaw Nike’s 700+ person design organization with responsibility for driving its business and creative strategy, managing its annual operating budget, and leading its 30+ person Strategy and Operations team.\n\n \nAfter taking a step away from Nike in the summer of 2021, Morrell is set to find his next challenge from his new roots in Austin, Texas. \n\n“My family was ready for our next adventure, a new chapter,” he said. Morrell described the new stage of his career as the ability and luxury to take a step back in order to take a step forward. \n\n\n\nWith a keen eye for new ideas and products, Morrell quickly gravitated to Screen Skinz and the technology behind the product after seeing it in person.
